Ma last day already...I can't beleive I'm leaving soon. Now, I'm at Ichigo's place to spend my last night. Her place is really nice! Her and her husband are inviting me to my last japanese supper. I can't thank them enough. We are going to eat yakiniku, Ichigo told me that it was meat that we cook ourself. It's going to be good, I know it!

My last days in Tokyo were pretty calm. I was sick, I caught a cold, so I stayed in bed a lot. I walked to the Tokyo station on Monday and Tuesday I just walked a bit around Asakusa. It's too bad that I don't have enough money or I would have done something more special. I can't beleive I went to Japan and didn't eat sushi XD. But what I did eat and loved was omelet rice. Sooooo good. I want to know what sauce they put to make it so tasty. I want to make omelet rice and eat it at home! Whe I'll be going tommorow at 11h55am, it will only be 15h30ish when I'll arrive. How crazy is that!

Today, I went to the Yoyogi park. On my way to there, I stopped at the La Foret shopping center to see all the brands I did not yet see. I walked in, looked and some stuff then stumbled in Maxicimam. One of the selling ladies looked at me and said "Kawaii!!!Kawaii!!" I was wearing my Heart E dress and socks with cherry elastics in my hair. I wasn't really feeling cute today so it cheered me up a little to see how she sounded enthousiastic about finding me cute. I looked around (I love Ma and Mam!) and when I was about to leave, the girl stopped me to give me a little bag and said "Puresento" It wasn't much, just a small Maxicimam catalogue and some stickers but I really appreciate it ^_^ Then, I stepped in Putumayo. I felt like I was going to cry. Then felt stupid because I almost cried. I was so happy to finally be able to touch the clothing I love so much. Too bad I had no money left to buy anything T_T So sad.

I finally arrived at the Yoyogi park where I saw some cosplayers and lolitas. There was a festival going on too so I watched too. I saw the bands in the streets and took some videos. They were really good! I also saw the Rockabilly club, they were really cool! I got my picture taken asked or not asked. It was a fun day! Pictures when I get back home -_-

26th-Aug-2006 09:07 pm - I *heart* Akiba
Today I got cheered up a little. The day started but I didn't want to leave the bed. When I finally did, I got dressed and went to the grocery store and bought an onigiri and melon bread (I just HAD to try it thanks to Yakitate Japan!). As I eat my breakfast, the guy from the hostel comes to tell me that I got the wrong bed so I had to move to a top bunk bed
-_-. So, after eating I went up to my room and gathered my things to move them to the top bunk. I felt all bummed out (probably because it's going to be my week soon) and depressed and didn't want to go out. I finally kicked myself into going outside.

I decided to go to Akihabara by foot. I tried to go there by taking the main street, but the Samba festival's parade was going to start so there was a LOT of people cramped on the side of the street and people were pushing...So I decided to go there by taking the smaller streets until I get to a bigger street where the parade doesn't pass. So, I was walking when I heard someone say "excuse-me" I turn around and there's a japanese guy. He asked me where I came from, he told me he was going to play the taiko in the festival and small stuff like that. I think he wanted to paractice his english when he saw me XD. I went on my way, still walking on the small streets when another japanese guy stops me. This time, he had a professional looking camera and asked me if he could take a picture of me. I said yes and he took some pictures from different angles. He was pretty nice looking and 1 year older then me XD. Then, I stopped at a takoyaki stand and sat to eat them, when a creepy looking old man kept passing in front of me...Then, he said to me in japanese that I was "a bit beautiful". I pretended that I didn't understood him. Then he goes back and forth again and comes back and say the same thing again, but then asks me if I'm alone. I again pretend I didn't understand. I finish eating, then stopped at a machine to get some water. He comes and says "Hotel?" I shaked my head fiercely and praticly ran away.

On my way to Akiba, I met some christian women that wanted to drag me to their church O.o I said that I wasn't christian and politely refused their offer. When I arrived at Akiba, I felt all my negetive feelings go away. We should really have an Akihabara back home...I bought a birthday gift for my sister, I hope she's going to like it. On my way back to the hostel, I saw a guy that looked like Miyavi! He was looking at me and I smiled at him and he smiled back. I was so intimidated that I praticly ran away...I feel so stupid. I could at least ask him if he was Miyavi...If it was really him, I think I'll die T_T He was so cute T_T

Yesterday, I walked from Shibuya to Shinjuku and stopped at a Citibank to get money from my account that my mom sent to me. I'm trying to survive the last days I still have left in Japan with that little money. I was supposed to have more money, but things didn't really work out well. Being in Japan with no money sucks... And on top of that, I think I lost the USB cable for my camera, so I can't load pictures in the computer. I think I'm going to have the same headache I had yesterday. I want to go back...Maybe being at Harajuku tommorow will cheer me up...

Later, I met with Ichigo and we went to shopping centers. I was more looking then anything else. Then we went to the karaoke, the only cheap thing I can still do...It cost us only 500yen each including drinks. Then we went looking at more stuff and nail stuff for her. She does incredible nails. Everytime I see her, she has a different set of nails on, all very beautiful.

Today, I went to Shinjuku again and I found MaruiOne (or young)! I was so happy. The first thing I saw was the Alice in Onejuku thing they annonced in the website. It was so cute! The thing I liked most was the mini country hats, so cute. In just a few levels I felt I found paradise once more. So many brands, so many awesomeness, so many cuteness...I finally got that blouse Chibi_hoshi asked for ^_^ I was so glad I found it. The girl at Baby was so nice! She even gift wrapped it. I bought Heart E cherry socks to go with my Heart E dress. Too bad they didn't have the cherry bow headdress that goes with the dress too, it was on sale T_T.

As I went out of Marui, I saw a book store and went in. I found the Gothic and Lolita Bible that Darksunmoon asked, but there wasn't a special book so I'll have to give her back her money for it. I'm so glad I finally finished my missions ^_^
23rd-Aug-2006 09:08 pm - Bandai Museum!
Today, I went out not too far from were Ichigo lives. While waiting for her and her husband, I stumbled into the Bandai Museum! I saw old versions of Power Rangers and Gundam. I took lots of pictures.

When I met with Ichigo and Nao, we went to eat some ramen. It was really delicious! I really liked the egg that was in my ramen. Then, we went to karaoke. It was so cheap! There was crepes for 99yen and the drinks and ice cream were free. I really love Japan's karaoke!

Then, I went to Shinjuku to look for Marui One so that I could find Chibi_hoshi's blouse. I never found it. I found Marui Men and Marui City but not Marui One and both were closed for some reason. Does it even exist? I looked and looked until I was too tired and got back at the hostel.

Yesterday I went to Harajuku and Shibuya. I spent like crazy in Harajuku T_T. I first went to Closet child where I spent for about 185$ in clothes and just upstairs there was a doll shop where i found Rida (a pullip doll) on sale! I just couldnt leave her there so I bought her. Before I knew it, I only had 100$ left (aside from the money Chibi-hoshi and darksunmoon gave me) Im going to try calling at work so that they give me my pay in advance. I met ichigo on the way and we went to do purikura and karaoke. We also went to Metamorphose to look at some of the dresses. T_T I want to buy them all!

In Shibuya, I was so impressed by the amount of big screens and lights and people! It looks really busy there. I saw some yamamba boys and girls. I didnt stay long, but I took some pictures XD. I finally saw Hachiko!

21st-Aug-2006 09:05 pm - Akihabara = My paradise
I started my day very early, I woke up at 4am and couldnt sleep...So I woke up and went on the internet for an hour, then walked around Asakusa to be a bit more familiar with my surroundings. I got disoriented a few times but always found my way by myself. I bought a nice cell phone watch and some stuff at the 100 yen shop. I had for my first japanese breakfast 2 onigiri and one milk and coffee bottle. Why cant we have delicious depanneur food like in Japan? I swear, it was so fresh and delicious, I couldnt beleive I was eating depanneur food.

I also went to my first shopping center. I really liked it! Much better then the shopping centers we have XD. At the first floor, there was several kids clothing store. The first one I saw was Shirley Temple with a vendor clothed with lolita clothes. I also went to a Claires wich have nothing in common with the Claires we have here. I bought a few accessories. I also went to a book store that looked like a Chapters or Indigo. I bought a Kera magazine and saw a picture of Camilla in it! On my way to meet Ichigo, there was television people that asked to interview me and an english guy that was giving me directions for the Tsukuba line. I was really shy, the interviewer said that I was cute and was impressed when I said that I made my hair myself. The english guy had to translate a lot for me XD. At the end, they gave us hand towels as a gift for participating.

After, I met with Ichigo at the Asakusa station on the Tsukuba line. Then we went to one of the places that Ive only been dreamimg about for ages = Akihabara. Really, this place is a gamer/anime fans dream come true. There are lots and lots of anime/manga shops, video games and figurines explosions, gadjets as far as the eye can see. I was really overwelmed by all this goods profusion, it was too much for me XD.

And now for the pictures )

I cant beleive Im finally there! The trip was really really long, about 15 hours. I got to meet Ichigo and we went to my hostel (we had to ask the way a couple of times XD). Im really happy to be there. When I stepped outside of Asakusa station, there was so many shops and color everywhere. I took some pictures but my usb plug is up in my room and Im really tired so Ill update the thread with pictures tommorow. While waiting for Ichigos husband, we went karaoke wich was really fun. Then, we went to eat with her husband. On the way back to my hostel, a guy shoved me. Tommorow, Ill be conquering Akihabara!
